Just outside of Maillane on the way to Saint-Rémy de Provence is Mas de Mouret, a 17th century farm house where all year round Eve and David Crouzet welcome guest in their charming bed and breakfast. Away from hustle and bustle Mas de Mouret is situated in a tranquil setting surrounded by fields and orchards yet not too far from Avignon, Arles or Luberon which made it a perfect base for us to explore Provence.

Eve and David are wonderful hosts and we experienced their genuine hospitality throughout our entire stay. We really liked our bedroom which was nice and spacious as well as guest living room and fully equipped kitchen. Daily breakfast was served outside and our host Eva did an amazing job. We were enjoying freshly baked pastries and homemade preserves while looking at wonderful view of Alpilles.

TIP: our French was very limited so was Eve’s English but we manage to communicate via translator app which we used quite often.

We really appreciated all the suggestions and tips she shared with us to help us plan our excursions.

We took TGV from Paris to Avignon. Car rentals are conveniently located just outside Avignon TGV station. It took 15 min to reach our destination just pass village of Maillane towards Saint-Rémy de Provence and you will see their sign on your right side.

There are plenty of accommodations like this one throughout Provence each one with its own charm and unique character. You can find your own perfect spot at one of my favorite sites www.avignon-et-provence.com. You will find there detailed info about accommodation as well as vacation ideas, gastronomy, wines etc. all you need to know to plan your Provence trip.
